Shortly after their launch, we assigned the Beats Studio Buds+ a score of 84 in our review. While several new features caught our attention, the jump in price from $150 to $170 felt a tad excessive for what was offered. However, this current promotion aptly compensates for that initial hike. Noteworthy enhancements introduced with the Beats Studio Buds+ encompass a 16% boost in battery life, triple-sized microphones, and the addition of acoustic vents on both the front and side. Overall, they outshine their predecessor in terms of sound quality and noise cancellation capabilities. Additionally, a redesign relocated the control button, preventing unintended presses during adjustments — a significant issue with the original model.
That said, the Beats Studio Buds+ do have some shortcomings. They lack features like automatic pause and wireless charging. Moreover, despite the sound quality enhancements, they don’t quite rival contenders such as the AirPods.
