Anker is renowned for its affordable yet feature-rich charging solutions. Echoing the attributes of primary products, their wireless MagGo series is now revamped to accommodate the latest Qi2 charging standard set by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC).
The updated Qi2 MagGo lineup by Anker comprises seven items, highlighted by a 6,600mAh power bank that magnetically attaches to phones and a versatile 3-in-1 charging hub suitable for AirPods, Apple Watch, and 15-watt Qi2 phone charging. Anker is also launching a revamped 8-in-1 charging hub featuring dual USB-A and USB-C ports, three power outlets, and a Qi2 phone charger.
Previously, Anker’s MagGo gadgets were merely MagSafe compatible, allowing only up to 7.5-watt magnetic wireless charging. With the recent update, Anker boasts that its Qi2 MagGo series is among the pioneers to receive full endorsement from WPC’s latest Qi2 official validation, which is an enhancement over Apple’s technology.
In terms of performance, Anker assures that each product rivals Apple’s 15W MagSafe tech and will be compatible with all Apple MagSafe iPhone models. There’s speculation (though unverified) that Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 might natively support Qi2, bypassing the need for MagSafe verification.
Anticipate the arrival of Anker’s latest MagGo items this fall, likely coinciding with the debut of Qi2-compatible phones in the marketplace.
