The eagerly anticipated release of Apple’s Vision Pro mixed reality headset is rumored to occur as early as next month, although the company has yet to officially confirm a release date. According to insights from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, an official announcement for the Vision Pro could be expected in the coming week, conveniently coinciding with CES, an event Apple typically abstains from. Gurman notes that the headset has already commenced shipping to US warehouses on a limited scale.
In his Power On newsletter, Gurman delves into recent developments that align with his earlier prediction of a February release for the Vision Pro. Building upon previous reports of select employees undergoing training for a new product at Apple’s headquarters, Gurman reveals a three-hour meeting scheduled for all Apple store employees across the US on January 21. This meeting is complemented by training sessions and the introduction of new inventory racks throughout the subsequent week.
Gurman sees these pieces falling into place as indicative of an “imminent rollout” in the US, with other regions such as China, Canada, and the UK potentially following suit shortly thereafter.
