The tech world’s autumn calendar is filling up quickly, and Google’s annual Pixel event now has a confirmed date. Scheduled for October 4th at 1PM, the next Made by Google event promises exciting unveils. An invite sent to Engadget reads, “You’re invited to an in-person Made by Google event where we’ll showcase the newest members of our Pixel device family.”
This announcement came shortly after an image, presumably of the Pixel 8 Pro, made an unexpected appearance on Google’s online store. Interestingly, this leak coincided with Apple’s announcement of its iPhone event slated for September 15th. Alongside the Pixel, there are whispers of a potential unveiling of a new Pixel Watch and other hardware products.
Like Microsoft’s upcoming event, which is anticipated to center around Surface products, Google’s gathering will be hosted in New York City. Stay tuned to Engadget for comprehensive coverage of all major revelations from the Made by Google event.
