Kindle Scribe: Save 22% on Amazon’s Newest E-Reader

Amazon’s Kindle Scribe is up to 22% off for Prime members

Amazon is offering a new sale on the Kindle Scribe, with discounts of up to 22% for Prime members. This brings the base model down to $265, which is only $10 more than the discount we saw during Amazon’s Prime Day event last July.

The Kindle Scribe is Amazon’s first e-reader with note-taking support. It has a 10.2-inch, 300 ppi display and comes with a stylus. You can use the stylus to jot down notes in books and documents, create to-do lists, draw sketches, and more.

Amazon has steadily improved the note-taking aspect of the Scribe since launch, but there are still some shortcomings. You can’t mark up every book directly on the page, handwriting-to-text support is limited, and there’s no easy way to sync handwritten notes with services like Google Drive or OneNote. The device isn’t waterproof either.

Overall, the Kindle Scribe is a good option for people who want an e-reader with some level of pen support. It’s not as flexible as the reMarkable 2 for writing, and it’s not as good of a value as the Kindle Paperwhite purely for reading. But if you want a Kindle with note-taking support, the Scribe is worth considering, especially at this discounted price.

Is the Kindle Scribe right for you?

If you’re looking for an e-reader with note-taking support, the Kindle Scribe is a good option to consider. It has a large, high-resolution display, comes with a stylus, and has access to Amazon’s giant ebook library. However, it’s important to keep in mind the shortcomings of the device, such as the inability to mark up every book directly on the page and the limited handwriting-to-text support.

If you’re not sure whether the Kindle Scribe is right for you, I recommend reading reviews from other users and comparing it to other e-readers on the market.
