When Sony first introduced the PS5 in 2020, it was well-received (scoring 87 from us). It’s only gotten better since, with consistent upgrades over the years. The latest software update has brought several enhancements. Users can now employ a secondary controller to aid gameplay and the M.2 SSD storage capacity has been expanded from 4TB to a whopping 8TB. Moreover, Dolby Atmos support has been integrated, broadening audio output device options.

For those who own the console or are planning to purchase, a range of PS5 accessories are also seeing price slashes. The stylish DualSense Wireless Controller, in a spectrum of colors from timeless White to the vibrant Galactic Purple, is now just $49. Moreover, the Gray Camouflage version of Sony’s PlayStation Pulse 3D Wireless Headset has hit its lowest price ever, down to $70 from its regular $100. If there was ever a moment to dive into the PS5 ecosystem, it’s now.
