While Apple has yet to officially confirm the release date for its highly anticipated Vision Pro mixed reality headset, speculations are rife that an announcement might be on the horizon, potentially within the next week or so, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. This coincides conveniently with CES, an event Apple typically abstains from. Gurman notes that the headset has already commenced shipping to US warehouses on a limited scale.
In his Power On newsletter, Gurman delves into recent developments that support his earlier prediction of a February release for the Vision Pro. Building on his previous report about select employees undergoing training for a new product, Gurman now reveals a scheduled three-hour meeting for all Apple store employees across the US on January 21. This meeting is accompanied by planned training sessions and the introduction of new inventory racks throughout the following week.
The pieces seem to be falling into place for what Gurman anticipates as an “imminent rollout” in the US. Following this, other regions such as China, Canada, and the UK may be in line for the release.
